Ben Soccorsy is EVP of Global Open Banking at Mastercard, where he’s Head of Global Data Access and leads Strategic Partnerships. As part of the Global Open Banking leadership team Ben is focused on building a global data access network beginning in North America. He focuses on building strategic partnerships and helping banks and fintechs navigate regulation like the upcoming CFPB rulemaking on Dodd Frank Section 1033. Previously, Ben was at Wells Fargo for nearly 17 years, where he had multiple executive roles. Most recently, Ben was SVP and Head of Digital Payments where he led the creation of the open banking channel, one of the first banks in the US to do so. Ben’s open banking industry leadership roles included founding member and co-chair of the board of directors of the Financial Data Exchange (FDX), board member for Akoya and member of The Clearing House’s connected banking steering committee.
