Brandis DeSimone is a Vice President and Head of Americas Data Sales for Nasdaq. Brandis is responsible for leading her sales team and driving new business and relationship management for nearly 350 clients, representing $16M in annual revenue. Brandis has been with Nasdaq for 10 years and has worked in various businesses throughout the organization, such as Listing Services and Corporate Solutions. Brandis was a founding member for both Nasdaq’s Women’s Network (2014) and Nasdaq’s Veteran’s Network (2016). Brandis joined Nasdaq from SunGard Financial Systems and began her Wall Street career as an equity analyst at Merrill Lynch. She attended The US Naval Academy in Annapolis and holds a Master’s Degree from Rutgers University. During her Naval career, Brandis served as a Surface Warfare Officer on an Aegis class Destroyer and is a veteran of Operation Enduring Freedom, Operating Iraqi Freedom, and the Global War on Terror. She is a member of the Women’s Bond Club and was awarded their Rising Star Award. Brandis lives in Westchester, NY with her husband and two young children. She considers herself an avid runner, intermediate sailor, swimmer and skier; passionate supporter of veterans and women’s initiatives, dog lover, book club aficionado, wine enthusiast, and a loyal and humble patriot.
