Kristen Castell is the Managing Director for Center for Accelerating Financial Equity (CAFE) a non-profit, with a flagship fintech accelerator program, to advance financial wellness for low-to-moderate income (LMI) communities through fintech innovation and partnerships. She built and leads CAFE, using her previous experience over 13+ years at large asset managers (product executive at JPMorgan and BlackRock) and as a fintech entrepreneur, part of the founding team and COO of Seeds Investor, a values-aligned investment platform. She was named an Inspiring Fintech Female 2023 from NYC Fintech Women and RealList Connector 2024 from Technical.ly for her work supporting others, especially women entrepreneurs, and building communities. She also is on the board of many social impact aligned organizations - including Telosa (a new city based on equitism, by the people), MicroDreams, a microfinance foundation, and ShareChange, a fintech for micro-loans.
