Shekhar Sahgal leads data access for Open Banking at Mastercard. He is responsible for managing the strategy and execution for connectivity to financial data that powers Mastercard’s open banking platform. Shekhar has been with Mastercard since 2011 and has a breadth of experience in payments covering consumer cards, commercial, and now open banking. Prior to Mastercard, Shekhar worked at American Express and Citi. He holds an MBA from the University of Chicago, and a BS in computer science and economics from the University of Rochester.
