Wayne Miller is the Senior Vice President of Innovation Programs at the Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA), where he leads the organization’s innovation programming, including the acclaimed ThinkTECH Accelerator. In this role, he is responsible for advancing community bank-fintech partnerships through the development and deployment of targeted solutions for community banks across the U.S.

Miller brings more than four decades of experience across a wide range of industries, including banking, financial technology, healthcare, cybersecurity, and entrepreneurship. Before joining ICBA, he served as Executive Director of The Venture Center, renowned for its globally recognized fintech accelerator programs, where he played a pivotal role in launching the ICBA ThinkTECH Accelerator and supporting the growth of early- to growthstage fintech companies. His career also includes leadership positions as CEO of a privateequity-backed medical device manufacturer, co-founder of Admine.com (a VC-backed startup), and senior business development roles at Proxicom and Deloitte.

A serial entrepreneur and recognized leader in innovation, Miller sits on the board of Beauceron Security, Vero and Revio Insights. Miller serves as a general partner with BankTech Ventures, and advises and mentors numerous fintech startups and accelerators. He is also active in education as a faculty at the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado and Barett School of Banking, and has served as an adjunct professor at the University of Maryland, teaching entrepreneurship at the Smith School of Business.

Wayne attended the University of Pittsburgh currently resides in Bethany Beach, Delaware. Wayne is an active volunteer advising two nationally recognized accelerator programs, and mentors for the Kaufman Foundation's Million Cups program. Wayne's community eƯorts have been recognized with awards such as the Virginia Governor's Service Award for his contributions to the Washington Regional Alcohol Program. He is widely respected for his collaborative approach and commitment to helping community banks leverage technology, navigate digital transformation, and remain competitive in a rapidly changing financial landscape.
