Director of Human Resources and Development - Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ) Aysha Sulaiman is the Director of Human Resources and Development for the Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ). Ms Sulaiman guides and manages the overall provision of Human Resources strategies, services, policies, and programs for RAKEZ. The major areas directed are strategic human resources, recruiting and staffing, organisational development and designing, performance management, policy development and documentation, employee relations, compensations and benefits, employee safety, welfare, wellness, and health, succession planning, and employee retention. Ms Sulaiman plays a key role in developing and implementing RAKEZ’s organisational strategies by establishing Human Resources Department accountabilities. She also participates effectively in developing the organisation’s strategies by identifying and researching human resources issues; contributing information, analysis, and recommendations to RAKEZ’s strategic thinking and direction; and aligning human resources objectives with organisational objectives. Ms Sulaiman has more than 18 years of experience in the strategic human resources field in the UAE. Turnaround and integration specialist with experience in leading organisations through transformation or culture and leadership transformation journeys. Responsible for driving people excellence in HR functions and for driving business results in HR consulting verticals such as employee engagement and talent. She holds a Master’s degree in Global Human Resources Management from the University of Liverpool, UK.
