Gabriela Iancu is a recognised HR and Talent Management senior professional with almost two decades of progressive experience. Gabriela leverages extensive expertise to deliver innovative HR solutions, specialising in organisation design and development and overall strategic initiatives. Known for leading complex HR governance and transformation projects, she excels in HR compliance, audit processes, and aligning HR analytics with strategic business goals.
Prior to her current role as Talent Management Manager with Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone, Gabriela served as the Regional Talent and Development Manager for Holcim Group in the UAE and Oman, where they played a pivotal role in reengineering talent management practices. From overseeing talent acquisition and leadership development to revamping the Learning & Development (L&D) function, she significantly improved employee engagement and performance management processes. Along with her colleagues in Holcim Group, her contributions were recognised with the Best Innovative Flexible Working Initiative Award at HRSE 2021.
Her earlier roles include collaborations with Gulf Drug Group (UAE), Qatar Airways Group (Qatar) and AIESEC (Romania), where she enhanced HR practices to meet international standards and managed extensive HR processes.
Gabriela’s diverse experience is supported by academic qualifications in Communication and Public Relations and Education Psychology, as well as multiple certifications including SHRM SCP.
