Mohammed AlShamsi is Programs Lead Specialist at the Abu Dhabi Early Childhood Authority (ECA), where he plays an active role in the Parent-friendly Label (PFL) Program overseeing communication and relation building with current and potential applicants of the program, that aims at enabling working parents to balance their responsibilities between work and home.

A recent joiner to the ECA team, Al Shamsi brings a wealth of experience in building and cultivating professional relationships with various stakeholders, which aligns with his current role in overseeing the label’s applicants’ overall experience in addition to coordinating with PFL’s external communication stakeholders to build and execute effective communication strategies, aimed at raising awareness around the label.

Prior to joining ECA, Al Shamsi was part of Strata Manufacturing PJSC for over a decade, occupying multiple positions within the organisation. His responsibilities in his most recent position, as a Senior Project Engineer for the Advanced Materials cluster, entailed developing and maintaining project plans and requirements, as well as identifying, analysing potential risks, and developing mitigation strategies; all critical transferable skills that he harnesses in his current role.

Al Shamsi holds a bachelor’s degree in ‘Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology’ from the Higher Colleges of Technology. Through a diverse range of training courses over the years, Al Shamsi has acquired valuable knowledge that propelled professional growth.
