Syed Azharudin is a recognised leader in HR Strategy and Organisational Transformation, with over 17 years of experience, including more than a decade in Saudi Arabia. He is known for his expertise in crafting HR strategies, driving organisational transformation, establishing performance-driven cultures, leadership development and fostering talent development initiatives.

Currently, Syed heads the Talent and Organisational Development function at AJEX Logistics Services, overseeing talent across the Middle East, Turkey, China, and the US.

In his role at AJEX, Syed champions innovative, industry-leading practices to enhance workforce performance and cultivate a world-class organisational culture. His contributions include implementing the latest HR innovations, advancing national workforce development within the logistics industry to align with Saudi Vision 2030, and creating professional development pathways for Saudi nationals. Under his leadership, AJEX has achieved milestones such as the Great Place to Work certification for two consecutive years and significant progress in Saudization initiatives.

Over the years, Syed has collaborated with diverse industries such as Fashion Retail, Food Retail, Food & Hospitality, Logistics, Maritime, and Education. His strategic insights and innovative solutions have consistently enhanced performance cultures and contributed to achieving organisational visions.

Syed's leadership and impact have earned him multiple accolades. He was recognised as one of the Top 50 HR Leaders by the World HRD Congress in 2024. Additionally, he was honored as one of the Top 100 Global Training and Development Leaders in 2017 and received the Global Laureate in Learning & Development Award by the Laureate Assembly in 2024.

He is an IT Engineering graduate from Anna University, India and has an extensive list of industry certifications including Certified Executive & Team Coach, Leadership Assessor from the Marshall Goldsmith Stakeholder Centred Coaching, Executive Development in Talent Management from XLRI , Strategy People Management from IIM Lucknow, Certified Professional in Talent Development from ATD , Certified NLP Practitioner and Certified Leadership Program Facilitator from Institute of Leadership Management, City & Guilds.
