Build ROI with Your Booth Experience

These tips are designed to help you increase ROI and consider all aspects of the event while preparing you for the show.

1. Establish Goals & Objectives

“If you don’t know where you are going, you’ll end up someplace else.” – Yogi Berra

Determining what you want to get out of the LBMAO Buying Show will help you reach your goals and objectives for the show. Not sure where to start? Your goals should be S.M.A.R.T.

S - Specific
M - Measurable
A - Achievable
R - Realistic
T - Timely

Want to take it one step further?
Have a Pre-show meeting with staff to establish these goals, scheduling and create a game plan together.
Then, instill some friendly competition among your staff. Work together to ensure your exhibit has more impact than your competitor’s!

2. Use Professional and Attractive Graphics & Signage

Graphics need to say:

  • Who you are
  • What you do
  • Benefits of your products/services

Copywriting Guidelines:

  • Buyer-focused
  • Concise
  • Stress one benefit only
  • Action-oriented

3. Build, Buy or Rent a Backdrop or Booth Display

This ensures a professional, functional display. Exhibitors are required to have a back wall display in front of the back drape. Your booth represents your business for the duration of the show and you want to make a good first impression. Having a professional backdrop is a great place to start!

Review our Booth Regulations for more insight.

4. Invite People to the Show

And tell them where you'll be! Let them know your Booth Number and how to find you so they can stop by and say hello. Perfect for prospective or loyal customers.

Ways to encourage visitors include sending out the free tradeshow pass (linked below) as well as sending, email campaigns, text message or phone campaigns, etc.

We also recommend using our Marketing Tools to promote yourself and your participation in the LBMAO Buying Show across your Social Media platforms.
