Judging Process
At the Middle East Event Awards, we are committed to ensuring a fair, transparent, and thorough judging process to recognize and celebrate the best in the industry. Here's a detailed look at how the judging process works:
1. Nomination Submission
Nominees are accepted based on the eligibility criteria.
Entrants are required to submit their entries by the deadline, ensuring all necessary information is included.
2. Preliminary Review
An initial review is conducted to verify that entries are complete and have been submitted under the correct category.
3. First Round of Judging
Following the internal review, the external panel of judges, comprised of esteemed industry experts, commences their thorough evaluation process.
Judges evaluate and score each entry based on the published judging criteria.
4. Shortlist Announcement
Once the first round of judging is complete, a shortlist of the top-scoring nominees is announced.
These nominees represent the best of the submissions and move on to the next round for further evaluation.
5. Second Round of Judging: Presentations and Q&A
Shortlisted entrants are invited to present their entries directly to the judging panel in an online session.
During this round, entrants will respond to questions from the judges, allowing for a more in-depth assessment of each entry.
This additional layer of scrutiny ensures that the entries are thoroughly understood and evaluated.
6. Final Scoring and Winner Selection
After the second round of judging, the judges will score each entry based on the presentation and responses, finalizing their evaluations.
The winner for each category is selected based on the total score from both rounds of judging.
7. Announcement of Winners
The winners are announced at the Middle East Event Awards ceremony, where they will be celebrated for their achievements and contributions to the industry.
8. Confidentiality and Integrity
The judging process is conducted with strict confidentiality to ensure fairness.
Judges are carefully selected based on their expertise and are not assigned to categories where they have a conflict of interest.
All judges sign non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) to uphold the integrity and impartiality of the process.
The judges’ decisions are final. Awards will be made at the discretion of the judges, and no correspondence will be entered regarding the results.
