Glenstone Museum Outing
Jaw-Dropping. Awe-Inspiring.
Planners, need something to do before registration opens on Sunday, September 11 at 3pm?
Spend the morning with Visit Montgomery at one of Montgomery County’s art and cultural treasures, the Glenstone Museum in Potomac, Maryland. Guided by the personal vision of its founders, Glenstone assembles post-World War II artworks of the highest quality in an environment that seamlessly integrates art, architecture, and nature into a serene and contemplative experience.
Meet in the Bethesda North Marriott Hotel & Conference Center lobby around 9:15am, then hop onto a motorcoach for a short ride to the museum. You will be welcomed by Glenstone’s Director of Environmental Stewardship, Paul Tukey, who will share how Glenstone is creating a “living classroom” on the all-organic 300-acre property that includes native meadows, a five-acre organic lawn, restored streams and tributaries, forests and more than 12,000 recently planted native trees.
Walk Away Feeling Refreshed and Enlightened.
After spending the morning exploring, join us for a networking lunch in the beautiful Downtown Bethesda, Maryland, before heading back to the Marriott with plenty of time to spare before registration opens!
