Bingdong Zhao is Head of the Real Estate Investment Division at Junson Capital, overseeing portfolio allocation, investment strategy, deal execution, and asset management. He has created and managed real estate investment opportunities across asset classes, spanning direct equity, debt/mezzanine financing, and distressed/restructuring situations. Previously, he was a Director in Credit Suisse’s Asia Pacific Real Estate Finance & Securitization Group, responsible for originating and executing real estate finance and investment transactions across Greater China, and worked in Lehman Brothers’ Global Real Estate Group in Tokyo, focusing on real estate equity investments and NPL acquisition/resolution in China. He has a proven track record building high-performance teams, pioneering new business lines, and delivering strong returns through strategic vision, operational leadership, and hands-on asset management, with experience across North America, Europe, Japan, and China. He holds LLB (UIBE), LLM (Queen’s), LLM (NYU), and an MBA (UNC), and is licensed in New York and the PRC.
