Bingdong Zhao is Head of Global Real Estate Investment at Junson Capital, where he leads the firm’s global real estate strategy and oversees investment, asset management, and portfolio growth across major international markets. Since joining Junson in 2015, he has built and scaled the platform into a multi-billion-dollar business, expanding the firm’s presence in the United States and Europe and leading a series of landmark transactions across hospitality, office, student housing, and mixed-use assets. His work spans the full investment lifecycle, from origination and underwriting to execution, asset optimization, refinancing, and exit.

With more than 20 years of international experience, Mr. Zhao has held senior roles at Junson Capital, PAG Real Estate, Credit Suisse, and Lehman Brothers, with a track record across equity investment, debt and mezzanine financing, restructuring, and fund formation. Over the course of his career, he has worked extensively across North America, Europe, Japan, and China, and is known for combining strategic vision with disciplined execution and strong team leadership. He holds an MBA from UNC Kenan-Flagler, advanced law degrees from NYU and Queen’s University Canada, and is admitted to the New York State Bar and licensed to practice law in China.
