David has been in the hospitality industry for 20 years. The first half of his career was with Marriott International, beginning with on-property positions in Finance/Accounting at multiple hotels around the DC area. In 2009, he transitioned to Regional and Corporate roles, including being a part of the project teams that launched what is now Marriott’s Above Property Sales organization. He was also a part of the Corporate Finance/Operations team that was responsible for the acquisition and integration of Gaylord Hotels, and spent time as the on-property Director of Finance at the Gaylord National.

David left Marriott in 2014 to join DiamondRock Hospitality as a VP of Asset Management. He had the unique opportunity to join Park Hotels just after their split from Hilton and spent 5 years with the company. He transitioned in 2022 as SVP of Asset Management with Pebblebrook Hotel Trust with his portfolio concentrated in San Francisco and West L.A., and is currently a member of the California Hotel & Lodging Association (CHLA) Board.
