Jennifer Rutkowski joined the Asset Management Team among the Hospitality Investment Platform at Brookfield September of 2016. Her key objectives are topline revenue driven focusing on optimizing hotel direct sales strategies, marketing across all distribution channels, branding, hotel re-positioning and launches. Her scope of work resides across Brookfield’s globally owned hotel assets. A recent notable achievement was contributing to the successful disposition of The Diplomat Beach Resort which was the 3rd highest single asset hotel sale ever record in the US. Prior to Brookfield, Jennifer has simultaneously launched The Baccarat Hotel, New York and 1 Hotel Central Park. Preceding those launches, she successfully opened (what was formerly) The London NYC , was responsible for The London West Hollywood and numerous distressed global assets for Blackstone. Jennifer spent the first 8 years of her career being mentored by the boutique hotel visionary, Ian Schrager. During her tenure at Ian Schrager Hotels, she was responsible for all commercial efforts across the New York City portfolio of hotels. Through Ian, she honed her skills in the world of branding, marketing and strategic partnership developments. Jennifer received her Bachelor’s Degree from The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC. Immediately following undergraduate, she received her Master’s Degree from New York University. Jennifer is based at Brookfield Place in lower Manhattan. She resides in Bergen County, New Jersey with her husband, 15 year old daughter (Ava), 4 year old English Springer Spaniel (Hunter) and 1 year old ‘potcake’ pup (Lily) whom she rescued from The Turks & Caicos Islands.
