Magdalena Makiela-Bogacka has been involved with the International Pharmaceutical Congress Advisory Association (IPCAA) since 2019. She served as Co–Vice President beginning in 2023 and was elected Co–President in February 2025.

Magdalena began her career in EU public affairs in Brussels in 2006 and joined MSD in 2012. At MSD, she leads the GEMS, Consulting & Medical Education team, with a regional focus on Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Canada. Her work centers on international pharmaceutical code compliance, ethics, and meeting management.

She holds a Master’s degree in Economics and International Relations from the University of Economics in Kraków, Poland, and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Avans University of Applied Sciences.
