Nicole Balaban, CMP, began her career in the hospitality industry, working with two major hotel chains. She first held a role in catering sales before moving into a sales position with another leading brand.

She later transitioned into the pharmaceutical meetings sector, where she spent 11 years with a leading third-party agency. During this time, she held key roles as Sourcing Manager and Sourcing Operations Manager, gaining deep expertise in hotel sourcing and meeting operations. In these roles, Nicole led daily operations, developed and implemented standard operating procedures, and drove significant cost savings through strategic sourcing. She also played a vital role in supporting technology strategy and implementation for her client.

Currently, Nicole serves as an Offsite Meetings Operations Partner at Genentech, where she supports various aspects of meeting execution, including technology integration, logistics, and optimizing the attendee experience.
