Shanelle Gabriel is a globally-touring poet, speaker, communications consultant, and lupus advocate. Gracing countless stages from Carnegie Hall to the Vatican, she’s created commissioned poetry for brands like Pandora, the NFL Draft, and Hershey, and is known for crafting dynamic closing poems to capture the mission & learnings from events including Fast Company’s Innovation Festival and the Girl Scouts. Diagnosed with lupus in 2004, she's spoken at Congressional Hearings and health conferences, appeared on the cover of USA Today, and advises the Lupus Accelerating Breakthroughs Consortium. Shanelle facilitates trainings/keynotes on improved communication and self-care, and lectures at hospitals, universities, and companies on the patient experience.
