Lorne is co-founder of The Event Academy, which trains 500+ students a year from Certificate up to Postgraduate level in event management. Established in 2011 The Event Academy (accredited by The Chartered Institute of Marketing) is the UK's leading event training organisation, and for the past year has delivered programs for Saudi partners. Lorne also runs FathomXP, the employee experience agency, working for clients including LEGO, Nestle and UNICEF.

His passion is enabling students at all levels to build careers in the events industry and lectures on Creativity and Storytelling within the courses. In a past life he worked in Film Production and prior to FathomXP was founder of INVOLVE, the pioneering experiential events agency.
