LLM Technology, Media and Telecommunications Law (variable length)

With this LLM option you can take from a minimum of two years to a maximum of six years complete your studies. This allows you to take a break from your studies and to study optional modules that may be offered on different intakes from the one you applied for.

With this LLM award you must finish within two years from when you start the programme and take the module options offered within those two years.

Postgraduate Diploma in Technology, Media and Telecommunications Law

This is the Postgraduate Diploma option. Participants enrolling at this level will normally have the option to continue to LLM at a later date, subject to Queen Mary University approval.

This is the Postgraduate Certificate option. Participants enrolling at this level will have the option to continue to Postgraduate Diploma or LLM at a later date, subject to Queen Mary University approval.

Pre-Sessional Module

This is for non-lawyers who wish to enrol for the LLM but need additional law knowledge before being able to apply for the LLM.

This is subject to minimum numbers and is only available in January each year.

Application Process

To apply for this course, please complete the questions in the online form in as much relevant detail as possible.

You will also need to upload the following during the application process:

  1. Colour copy of degree certificates and transcripts
  2. A personal statement/motivation letter, outlining your reasons for wanting to take the course
  3. One reference letter, recommending you for the course (preferably this should be academic, especially if you have graduated within the last 5 years. If you graduated more than 5 years ago, an employee recommendation will be acceptable. This should be signed, dated and on headed paper)
  4. A recent CV
  5. English language proficiency certificate (if required)
  6. A copy of photo page of passport
  7. A jpeg headshot photo
