Kristen Carstensen, is a Senior Market Research Manager at Morningstar where she provides research and insights for various product groups including their Direct Platform. She has spent her entire career in the wealth management space, both as a Product Manager for advisor software and directly supporting advisor teams. Kristen holds a bachelor’s degree from Illinois Wesleyan University, a master’s degree from the University of St Andrews, and a master's degree in Human Computer Interaction from DePaul University. She has also earned the Certified Financial Planner TM(CFP®) certification from the College for Financial Planning.
