Lara Manuel is a consumer insights leader at Prudential Financial, focused understanding consumer needs and behaviors to drive business results. Her training is in the social sciences and has recently completed specialized training in behavioral science.

Lara has a deep background in primary market research. In her job, she combines her research expertise with the application of behavioral science to help reveal not just “what” consumers think but also the underlying “why”, which has helped Prudential increase the effectiveness of its ad campaigns, content, marketing materials and products.

Lara is passionate about her field. To her, what makes her job special is that she has the privilege to listen to people's stories every day -- what their joys are, their worries, what makes them get up every day – and translate those stories into insights to help develop products, services and experiences that can help people achieve their hopes and dreams.
