Lauren Angel
Principal Associate, Market Research at Capital One


Lauren Angel is a Market Researcher for the Retail Bank division at Capital One. In her role, she uncovers strategic insights that help stakeholders make important business decisions. Lauren brings extensive qualitative and quantitative research experience to her role and uses her knowledge of research methodologies to help tailor research to best understand audiences of interest.

Lauren has her MPH from The George Washington University and a BA in Psychology from the University of Virginia. Prior to joining Capital One in 2022, Lauren spent 4 years working in health communication research. She worked on several notable health campaigns, such as FDA’s “Real Cost” Campaign and HHS’ “We Can Do This” COVID vaccine-readiness campaign. In this role, Lauren gained experience in brand and messaging development, copy and concept testing, and considerable experience conducting and analyzing primary research.

Lauren is passionate about understanding behaviors and finding ways to achieve sustainable behavior change. She believes that research plays an incredibly important role in helping businesses make decisions that are effective at meeting consumer needs. In her free time, Lauren enjoys channeling the health-focused side of her brain with exercise and sports fandom.
