Profile

Ben Pelletier is a Partner in the San Francisco office of Haynes and Boone, where he serves as co-chair of the firm’s Biotechnology Practice Group. With a background in bioengineering and prior experience as an antibody engineer and project manager at Genentech, Ben advises biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and life sciences companies on intellectual property strategy, patent portfolio development, and patent prosecution. His practice focuses on complex biologic technologies, including multispecific antibodies, antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs), and CAR-T cell therapies. Ben has extensive experience guiding companies through the process of building and protecting high-value patent portfolios to maximize their commercial value, particularly in the immuno-oncology and large-molecule therapeutic spaces.
