Profile
Dr. Clarice Mengwen Zhang is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the laboratory of Dr. Nick Agard at Genentech, where she specializes in the development and mechanistic study of antibody-based induced proximity modalities. She earned her Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Yale University, where her doctoral research spanned a diverse range of chemical biology, including the synthesis of small-molecule extracellular protein degraders and the study of bacterial effectors in insect reproductive manipulation. Driven by a passion for drug discovery, she now focuses on defining the design principles and biological mechanisms governing next-generation therapeutic antibodies
