Curtis is the CEO and Co-founder of Protillion Biosciences. Curtis has pioneered high-impact technology approaches to drug discovery by leveraging interdisciplinary approaches encompassing protein engineering, next-generation sequencing technology, molecular biology, cell-free transcription and translation, computational biology, software development, and various engineering disciplines, resulting in multiple publications and patents. Dr. Layton completed his postdoctoral fellowship in the Genetics Department at Stanford University School of Medicine, where he developed the founding technology for Protillion. He received a Ph.D. in Computational Biology from Duke University.
