Eric Brown has 15+ years of experience in antibody engineering, production, purification and characterization. He joined Alector in 2016 as a Scientist and has held multiple roles within the company including leading project teams for several therapeutic targets. He now serves as an Associate Director within the ADPE (Antibody Discovery and Protein Engineering) team leading development of the Alector Brain Carrier (ABC) platform for delivery of biotherapeutics into the CNS. He received a double major in Chemistry and Biology from MIT and earned his PhD degree from Dartmouth University at the Thayer School of Engineering under Professor Margaret Ackerman.
