Dr. Gerlinde Wernig is an Associate Professor at Stanford University and a quadruple board-certified physician-scientist with training in pathology and internal medicine/hematology/oncology. As a principal investigator at Stanford’s Institute for Regenerative Medicine and Stem Cell Research and the department of Pathology, she leads a lab studying immunology and fibrotic diseases, focusing on the role of the transcription factor JUN as a master regulator in fibrosis.
