Imroz Ghangas is currently a Senior Director of Business Development at Asimov, where he leads initiatives in the Americas and Asia, focused on advancing synthetic biology solutions. With over 20 years of biotechnology industry experience, Imroz has a proven track record of fostering technical collaborations between therapeutic developers and technology innovators. He brings deep expertise across the bioprocess workflow, including cell line engineering, upstream and downstream process development, and manufacturing. Imroz is passionate about strengthening the connections between therapeutic design, process development, and manufacturing to drive improvements in therapeutic outcomes. Prior to joining Asimov, he held scientific and commercial roles at Amgen, Cytiva, and Samsung Biologics, where he played a key role in developing and implementing innovative solutions for biopharma companies. Imroz holds an MBA from UC Davis and a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from Penn State University, and he remains committed to leveraging cutting-edge technologies to drive impact in the biopharmaceutical space.
