Marissa Mock is Executive Director of Protein Therapeutics at Amgen, where she leads a team advancing the discovery and engineering of therapeutic proteins. Her group specializes in state-of-the-art protein engineering and wet-lab methods including yeast display, molecular biology, next-generation sequencing, and mammalian expression systems. In this role, Dr. Mock drives the integration of experimental biology with digital approaches for therapeutic protein engineering, ensuring that data-driven insights are applied directly to Amgen’s pipeline. She earned her Ph.D. in Chemistry from the California Institute of Technology.
