Natalie J. Galant, PhD, is Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Paradox Immunotherapeutics, a clinical-stage biotechnology company developing conformation-selective antibodies against misfolded proteins. Dr. Galant holds a PhD in Medical Biophysics from the University of Toronto, where her research contributed to the development of misTTR, a monoclonal antibody for ATTR amyloidosis that was subsequently acquired in a $1.2 billion transaction in 2021 and is now in Phase 3 clinical trials. She won BIO 2023 Start-Up Stadium’s Emerging Company Award, the inaugural Ted Rogers Centre for Heart Research ECHO pitch competition, and was named a finalist for the 2024 J.P. Morgan Life Sciences Innovation Summit. A Termeer Fellow at the Termeer Institute, she has co-authored more than 15 peer-reviewed publications spanning chemical informatics to immunotherapy drug development.
