Peter is cofounder and CSO of Tacalyx. He gained his track record within the field of therapeutic proteins and antibodies during his work as CSO and CEO of SuppreMol which was acquired in March 2015 by Baxter Bioscience/Baxalta and as “Head Process Biochemistry” at Glycart Biotechnology AG, Schlieren/Switzerland which was acquired by Roche in 2005. Peter has studied chemistry which he completed with PhD at the University of Bielefeld, Germany. He was Post-Doc and group leader for Structural immunology at the Max Planck-Institute for Biochemistry in Munich, Germany, in the lab of nobel laureate Robert Huber. He is inventor of more than 10 patents/patent applications and has authored +30 peer-reviewed scientific articles
