Sigrid Cornelis is a Distinguished Scientist and Head of LMR reps at Sanofi, with over three decades of experience in life sciences research spanning academia and the biopharmaceutical industry. Sigrid earned a degree in Bioengineering from Ghent University's Faculty of Bioscience Engineering followed by a PhD in Sciences through a collaboration between Roche Ghent and Ghent University. She then pursued postdoctoral research at the Flemish Institute of Biotechnology. In 2007, Sigrid joined Ablynx NV, and through acquisition as of 2019 serves at Sanofi, where she progressed through increasingly senior roles,transitioning from Discovery into product-oriented project leadership, building deep expertise in the multispecific NANOBODY® platform. She led internal and partnered programs discovering and developing NANOBODY® therapeutics for Autoimmune and Inflammatory Diseases from initiation through early clinical development.
