Steven Jacobs, Ph.D., is Senior Director of Biophysics & Molecular Attributes within Therapeutics Discovery at Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine. His work spans biologics discovery, therapeutic project leadership, and the biophysical characterization and developability assessment of biologics, including multispecific antibodies, ADCs, cytokine-based therapeutics, and other engineered protein formats. Over more than 20 years at J&J, he has contributed to the design, discovery, and advancement of numerous clinical candidates and has helped develop new technologies for biologics engineering and characterization. Dr. Jacobs received his B.S. in Chemistry from Penn State University, his Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Genetics from the University of Virginia, and completed postdoctoral training at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute at the University of Colorado at Boulder.
