Compulsory Health & Safety
Please read all Health & Safety documents carefully to ensure you will adhere to the rules set by Hamburg Messe und Congress and EBD Group.
Further technical information documents (e.g. rigging, catering and WLAN) can be found on the website of Hamburg Messe under the section Technical Information Sheets.
All Shell Scheme Exhibitors of BIO-Europe 2019 need to sign the document Acceptance of Technical Regulations.
Please send this filled in form to your exhibit liaison latest by September 20th.
INDIVIDUAL BOOTH DESIGN
If you plan a customized booth design, you require a 2-step approval.
1. Design Approval
Designs must be approved by EBD Group. Please send the drawings incl. measurements to your exhibit liaison by September 16th.
In the event EBD’s design rules differ from the Messe Hamburg Technical Guidelines, the terms of the EBD rules shall prevail.
2. Construction Approval
Individual booth constructions need safety approval from our Health & Safety Partner Abraxys.
Please send the drawings incl. measurements, the Risk Assessment (completed and signed by your company and your stand builder) together with the Acceptance of Regulations to Terri Simpson, firstname.lastname@example.org, by September 20th.

Shipments and Warehouse
Kuehne+Nagel is the official logistics partner of Messe Hamburg.
All advance booth shipments need to be sent to the warehouse. To order logistical services and for more information,

Partnering at your Booth
Exhibiting companies may elect to take meetings at their exhibit booth.
If you would like your agreed meetings to be scheduled to your exhibit booth, please send an email to your exhibitor liaison by October 18, 2019. For further questions please contact us, we are happy to help!

Venue Access Information

Use of Microphones and Speakers
The use of microphones and speakers is to be approved by EBD Group and will only be permitted if neighboring exhibitors/partnering will not be disturbed.
Ongoing catering consisting of breakfast, lunch and coffee breaks as well as beverages will be provided by the organizer. If you like to order any catering items for your booth, we recommend getting in touch with Kaefer Catering, the official catering company at Messe Hamburg. For a customized quote, contact firstname.lastname@example.org. You may as well order “standard” items at Kaefer’s webshop: www.standcatering-hamburg.com.
Receptions at your booth need to be approved by the organizer. If you plan to hold a reception, please contact your exhibit liaison.
Internet – WIFI
Wireless LAN is available in the exhibition hall.
Exhibitors and their stand constructors are not permitted to use outside WIFI routers or access points. Please do not use WIFI devices or personal mobile hotspots. Personal mobile hotspots must be turned off inside the exhibition hall as they interfere with the Hamburg Messe WIFI.
If an internet connection is vital for your stand, we recommend you to order a wired internet service as this remains the most reliable internet access solution for your stand.
The organizer does not provide insurance for any booth components or additional pieces of equipment brought into the conference,
rented from exhibitor services or for personal possessions of any exhibitor against loss, damage or theft. It is the exhibitor’s responsibility to arrange their own insurance coverage.
We are no longer providing a literature table in order to produce less waste and create a greener conference.
