David Honba has recently been appointed COO of BioWin, where he will play a key role in driving strategic initiatives and fostering innovation within the organization. Prior to this, he served as Head of Business Development at Univercells, a Belgian biotech company. With a strong background in opening new markets and building strategic partnerships, he oversaw a team dedicated to fostering collaborations in drug development of global health relevance. These collaborations involved academic institutions, pharmaceutical industries, and biotech companies.

Throughout his career, David has accumulated over ten years of international experience in biomanufacturing. He has gained significant technical expertise at GlaxoSmithKline, where he worked on the clinical and commercial launch of new vaccines. He also has substantial project management experience, particularly in setting up new vaccine manufacturing facilities.

David holds a master's degree in Bioscience Engineering, earned from Shandong University in China and Laval University in Canada. His extensive education and diverse professional background have equipped him with a robust skill set in project management, operational excellence, and strategic relationship management, enabling him to effectively drive innovation and collaboration in the Health sector.
