Lars is Senior Principal at Lundbeckfonden BioCapital. He has more than 15 years of experience in the life-science industry from management consulting, biotech, life-science investments, and pharma.

Before joining Lundbeckfonden BioCapital, Lars worked in business development at MedImmune / AstraZeneca in Cambridge UK, focussing on early-stage oncology opportunities as well as technology platforms. Prior to that, he worked with charitable life-science investments at the Wellcome Trust in London, business development in the biotech industry in Oxford, and a BCG consultant in Copenhagen. He has previously been a board member of Acesion Pharma in Copenhagen and Canbex Therapeutics in London and is currently on the board of a number of companies in Lundbeckfonden BioCapital’s international portfolio.

Lars holds a master's degree in biochemistry from the University of Copenhagen, a PhD. from Heidelberg University and EMBL in Heidelberg, and has a business master's, MPhil, from Cambridge University.
