Lene is a venture partner at Hadean Ventures, bringing over 25 years of experience in the life sciences industry. Her diverse background includes roles as a research scientist, patent attorney, business developer, and consultant for university spin-out companies. Lene has held key management positions in several biotech firms, including serving as Vice President at Action Pharma, which was acquired by Abbott in 2012, and at Visiopharm, a global AI healthcare company. Since 2014, she has been a venture capitalist, financing over 35 companies. Lene has also served as Chairman for 18 companies, reflecting her extensive board experience. She is the founder and Chair of Women in Life Science Denmark (WiLD), a non-profit network organization for executives and experts in the Life Science Industry, now counting 250 members from more than 150 companies and academic institutions.
