Profile
Tim James joined Evotec in 2012 as a computational chemist and has subsequently performed a number of roles supporting drug discovery projects across a variety of therapeutic areas and modalities. He currently leads the In Silico R&D group, a cross-disciplinary team focussed on the development of new capabilities in the areas of AI/ML, data science and physics-based simulation.
Prior to Evotec, Tim held positions at Prosidion, where he worked on a rational polypharmacology platform, and at De Novo Pharmaceuticals, where he helped develop new molecular design algorithms.
Tim received his undergraduate degree and PhD from the University of Cambridge, UK.
