Matthias is a Partner at Droia Ventures, a prominent European venture fund specializing in oncology and rare diseases. In this capacity, he has been instrumental in the formation of various newco’s (eg Alesta Therapeutics) and provides strategic R&D support to various companies within Droia’s portfolio.

Alongside his role at Droia, Matthias serves as the Chief Scientific Officer at Alesta Therapeutics.

Matthias holds a dual PhD in both Biomedical Sciences and Pharmaceutical Sciences.
