Kristi was born and raised right here in Austin, Texas, but her panache for planning started while attending Texas Tech University, where she coordinated and planned social, philanthropic and public events for her sorority, and earned her bachelor's degree in Retail. Upon returning to Austin, Kristi began her local event-planning career at Elite Weddings, and then went on to work as an Event Consultant and Marketing Director for Premiere Events before earning her Certified Wedding and Event Planning certification through LWPI’s Wedding Planning Institute and subsequently opening her own planning company, Eclipse Event Co., in 2015. In her free time, Kristi enjoys spending as much time as possible with her husband Dan and three amazing kids. She has served as Vice President, President, and Immediate Past-President for the Associated Wedding Planners of Austin (AWPA) and has also served as a past Board Member of the Austin chapter of the National Association for Catering and Events (NACE), where she served as Fundraising Chair and Communications Chair. 

Leslie LaSorsa, CSEP has 19 years of experience in the events industry as the General Manager of Crave Catering. She is a native of Chicago, grew up in Houston and made her way to Austin to attend The University of Texas earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. Leslie became an Auditor for PWC and earned her CPA. She then went on to hold various corporate accounting positions all over the US before making her way back to Austin and joining Crave. Leslie has been a leader in the events community in Austin having held board positions for 6 terms with ILEA ending as President and now a board position with WIPA’s newly formed chapter in Austin.
