Michael joined EJF’s London office in 2021, where he co-leads the EJF Ventures team and is responsible for identifying, structuring, and executing early-stage investment opportunities in the financial technology sector. Prior to joining EJF, Michael was a Vice President at Evercore, having worked in both their London and New York offices, where he advised fintech and software clients on M&A and capital markets transactions. He started his career in 2011 as an investment banker covering the Central and Eastern Europe regions, first at Renaissance Capital and later at Altius Capital. Michael holds a BSc in Economic Cybernetics from National Technical University of Ukraine and an MBA from Cornell University.
