Josh Tanenbaum is a Managing Partner at Rebalance Capital, a FinTech and WorkforceTech VC investing in embedded technology and AI companies serving ALICE (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) households. Josh has backed companies like Acorns, Upgrade, Fundrise, Everee, Micruity, and Summer. Prior to Rebalance Capital, Josh devoted his career covering financial institutions and FinTechs as an investment banker at Citi and human capital consultant at Korn Ferry. He partnered with the leadership teams at firms such as Ares, Blackstone, TPG, Franklin Templeton, AllianceBernstein, and Galaxy Digital through key financial inflection points. Josh previously founded and successfully exited LOCAL VIBES, an artist discovery and events payments platform.

Josh has an undergraduate degree from the University of Melbourne and a Master of Business Administration from Cornell’s SC Johnson College of Business.
