Profile
TX Zhuo is the General Partner at Fika Ventures, focusing on fintech, enterprise software, and marketplace opportunities. An entrepreneur at heart, TX has been involved with startups since his college days, when he founded and successfully sold an online college textbook marketplace. After a stint at McKinsey, where he was a core member of the firm's financial services and consumer goods practices, he returned to his entrepreneurial roots and served as CFO of electric vehicle startup Lit Motors. He then joined Innovation Endeavors, the seed-stage venture fund backed by Eric Schmidt.
In 2012, TX co-founded Karlin Ventures in Los Angeles, serving as Managing Partner for four years before co-founding Fika Ventures. A strong proponent of transparency and efficiency, he is constantly seeking out innovative platforms that have the potential to disrupt antiquated industries.
Once a competitive badminton player who trained four to five days a week, TX now spends his weekends on the golf course or making the most of his ClassPass membership. He is also passionate about supporting initiatives that help cancer fighters.
TX holds an MBA from Stanford and a BA in Mathematics and Economics from Wesleyan University.
