Wenni Wu is the Chief Growth Officer at Piermont Bank, where she leads all deposit-related businesses, including embedded banking, program management, and the bank’s overall deposit strategy. She’s responsible for driving the bank’s growth agenda by aligning deposit growth, client experience, market strategy, product relevance, and strategic partnership to support sustainable and profitable expansion.

In addition to overseeing the bank’s deposit business, Wenni leads client care, marketing, and client acquisition strategy. She works across the organization to strengthen Piermont’s position as a leading digital commercial bank for growth-stage companies, fintechs, and entrepreneurs.

Wenni joined Piermont prior to the bank’s official opening in 2019. She previously served as the Head of Customer Experience and Marketing and was responsible for building the bank’s brand and marketing platform from zero to one. Before Piermont, Wenni was a Vice President of Market Strategy at East West Bank, where she demonstrated a proven track record of developing and executing go-to-market strategies for East West’s new market expansion in East Coast and Texas, and successfully delivered transformational results on new business acquisition, revenue growth and client engagement.
