Peter is an economist with more than 20 years experience in project and business development in renewable energy (wind, hydro) and industrial cogeneration plants (WtE, Biomass, gas fired CHPs) as well as M&A transactions in Germany, UK and Turkey. Peter has >15 year experience in global carbon markets and development of carbon reduction projects internationally. Since 2020 Peter has lead the Task Force for CCU/S at E.ON Energy Projects which is E.ON’s specialized unit to provide large scale industrial energy solutions, leading the path to decarbonisation and digitisation of industrial energy supply. In September 2022 he became Director for CCU/S and since has built a team of >30 dedicated experts along the whole CCU/S value chain with the aim to deliver Carbon Capture, Logistics, Storage & Utilization solutions as a Service to E.ON’s client base and for E.ON’s own assets.
