The UK will host COP26 in Glasgow in November 2021 to being together world leaders to commit to urgent global climate action.
The UK leads the world by example – we were the first major economy to legislate for net zero, and are achieving larger and faster emissions reductions than any comparable economy.
Our Hydrogen Strategy demonstrates our similar determination to develop a low carbon hydrogen economy that will be a key part of our transition to net zero.
We are equally determined to play a key role in international collaboration – learning from others and sharing our experience and expertise to help scale up further and faster – so that low carbon hydrogen can help with the wider global transition to net zero.
