André Pina

Associate Director H2 Strategy at EDP Renewables

André is currently the Associated Director for H2 strategy and origination at EDP, supporting the definition of key markets, geographies and opportunities. Previously he was at the Energy Planning Department of EDP, focusing on assessing the implications on EDP’s business of the long-term evolution of energy systems, energy policies and innovative technologies such as new storage systems and hydrogen. He has a M.Sc. in Physics Engineering and a Ph.D. in Sustainable Energy Systems from Instituto Superior Técnico, within the MIT Portugal Program.
