Saudi Arabia's transport and logistics sector experienced a remarkable 76% growth in Q2 2024
RIYADH — The logistics services sector experienced a remarkable 76% growth with 11,928 registrations, making it the leading sector in Saudi Arabia in the April-June quarter, according to the Ministry of Commerce’s Business Sector Bulletin. The bulletin also highlighted key economic activities across various promising sectors in the Kingdom.
The AI sector grew by 53% with 8,948 registrations, predominantly in Riyadh, followed by Makkah, the Eastern region, Madinah, and Asir.
Cloud-computing services saw a 43% increase with 2,358 registrations, led by Riyadh, followed by Makkah, the Eastern region, Madinah, and Qassim.
The electronic games industry registered a 29% growth, with 336 registrations in Q2 2024 compared to 260 in the same period in 2023.
