Anup Tomy Thaliath is a waste management specialist with over 12 years’ experience from the UK, Oman and India.

He has a master’s degree in Environmental Engineering from University College London (UK) and is a member of Environmental Engineering, Institution of Engineers of India. He was part of the initial team in Oman that transformed the traditional approach of waste landfilling by promoting initiatives for reuse, recycling, and energy recovery of various waste streams.

Anup drove commercial growth associated with waste tyre and lead-acid battery disposal within Oman by developing opportunities for third party investments for recycling. He has presented at various international conferences on best practices for the development of waste-to-energy plants.
